Your Dashboard at a Glance
The First Community Credit Union online banking dashboard puts every account in one place. Log in and you immediately see all accounts tied to your membership — checking, savings, money market, share certificates, loans — alongside real-time balances and recent transactions. Merchant names, amounts, and posting dates appear without extra clicks. Tap any account line to drill into full transaction history, download statements, or initiate a transfer directly from that account's ledger.
Pending items — debit card holds, ACH transactions in process — display flagged, so a balance that does not match your spending never catches you off guard. Quick-action widgets on the home screen let you transfer money, schedule a bill payment, or set an alert without navigating into sub-menus. The interface is optimized for speed on both desktop and laptop browsers.
Fund Transfers: Internal and External ACH
Moving money between your own First Community accounts is instant. Transfer from checking to savings, shift funds to a loan account to make a payment, or fund a certificate — all posted the same second you confirm. There is no fee for internal transfers and no cap on the number you can make per day.
External ACH transfers to accounts at other banks or credit unions require linking the account first: enter the external routing number and account number, and the system sends two small verification deposits within one to two business days. Once verified, outbound ACH transfers submitted before 3:00 PM ET on business days typically post at the receiving institution within one to three business days. Standard ACH is free. For same-day delivery, wire transfers are available directly through online banking.
Integrated Bill Pay
First Community's bill pay is built directly into online banking — no separate login, no redirect to a third-party site. Add any biller in the United States: utilities, credit card companies, insurance providers, landlords, government agencies, even individuals. Once a payee is saved, scheduling a payment takes under thirty seconds.
Set payments as one-time or recurring. Recurring payments with a fixed amount — rent, subscriptions, insurance premiums — run on whatever schedule you define: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Electronic payments reach most large billers in one to two business days. Smaller payees that cannot receive electronic funds get a physical check mailed within five to seven business days. Payment history is archived for 18 months and searchable by payee name or date.
Initiate Wire Transfers Online
Domestic wire transfers are fully self-service through online banking. Go to Transfers, choose Wire Transfer, and enter the recipient's bank routing number, account number, full account holder name, and payment purpose. Domestic wires submitted before 3:00 PM ET on business days go out same day. The outgoing fee is $25 per wire.
International wires require the recipient's SWIFT/BIC code and IBAN (where applicable). The cutoff for international wires is 2:00 PM ET, with estimated delivery in one to three business days depending on the destination country. Fee is $45. See full wire transfer limits, fees, and instructions for complete details.
E-Statements: Seven Years of History, Zero Paper
Enrolling in e-statements takes thirty seconds. Navigate to Statements & Notices in online banking, click Enroll in E-Statements, confirm the email address on file, and accept the electronic disclosure. From that point forward, every statement — monthly for checking and savings, quarterly for certificates — is stored as a downloadable PDF in your account. You get an email notification the day each new statement posts. Statements are retained for seven years. Paper statements stop at the next statement cycle.
Account alerts extend the paperless experience further: configure notifications for low balances, large deposits, loan payment due dates, and new logins to your account. Everything available by mail or phone call is now available in real time through the platform.
Security Built Into Every Session
Every connection to First Community Credit Union online banking uses 256-bit TLS encryption. Sessions time out after 10 minutes of inactivity by default — adjustable to 30 minutes in your security settings for home use. These are not optional layers; they run on every login, every transfer, every page view.
Device recognition tracks browsers you have previously authenticated. A new device or browser triggers an out-of-band verification — a one-time code sent to your registered email or phone number — before access is granted. This step cannot be skipped or bypassed, even by support staff. For additional guidance on protecting your online accounts, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau publishes regularly updated fraud prevention resources. First Community's own security practices are detailed on our security page.
Browser Compatibility
Online banking runs on any modern desktop or laptop browser. Fully supported: the two most recent major versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari. Older versions may partially load but are not guaranteed for security or functionality. Internet Explorer is not supported under any circumstances.
On smartphones and tablets, the First Community mobile app delivers a better experience than a mobile browser — faster load times, mobile check deposit, biometric login, and card controls that the browser version does not offer. The app is free on iOS and Android.
